Editor-in-Chief Responsibilities

1. Scientific decisions about the journal's scope

2. Writing a preface for the journal

3. Be willing to contribute up to half a day per week to manage journal submissions within your expertise

4. Inviting 3 distinguished scholars to join the editorial board as associate editors

5. Assisting the Guest Editors in the setup of special issues

6. Deciding chapter topic of the journal

7. Promotion of FSAPub among your peers, in your area of influence or at conferences

The initial term for the Editor-in-Chief position is three years and can be renewed.

Associate Editor Responsibilities

1. Assisting with the development of issue features and solicits manuscript contributions to the journal

2. Reviewing manuscripts within your research interests

3. Helping to edit a special issue on a topic related to your research interests

4. Being approached for input or feedback regarding new regulations relating to the journal from time to time

5. Helping to promote the journal among your peers or at conferences

Guest Editor Responsibility

1. Editing special issues and inviting colleagues from the same research field to contribute an article on a topic within their expertise

2. Working together with the Editorial Office to prepare a description and keywords for the special issue web page

3. Usually making decisions on the acceptance of manuscripts submitted to your special issue

Guest Editors should not hold conflicts of interest with authors whose work they are assessing, e.g. if they are from the same institution or collaborate closely. In this case the Editor-in-Chief or a suitable editorial board member will make final acceptance decisions for submitted papers.
